## What changed

Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1545 amended the fragrance-allergen labeling provisions in Annex III of the EU Cosmetics Regulation. The original text sets out transition arrangements for the affected entries. [Read the regulation on EUR-Lex](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2023/1545/oj).

## Two dates, different activities

The transition provisions allow relevant products that do not meet the new restrictions to be placed on the EU market until July 31, 2026, and made available until July 31, 2028, subject to the conditions in the applicable entry. Some provisions expressly require compliance with restrictions applicable on August 15, 2023.

The first date has passed as of this editorial review. The second is not an extension for placing new products on the market.

## Reading the source
