PDRN, Korean skincare, and tinted sunscreens feature in Google’s Italian beauty-search report, published on 13 October. The report draws on Google Trends data for Italy from January to July 2026.1

What Google reported

Google identifies PDRN as the top-trending skincare ingredient in its dataset. It also reports record Italian search interest in Korean skincare, with moisturiser the leading trending generic product associated with those searches.1

For tinted products, Google describes a recurring June rise in interest and a record peak in June 2026. Tinted sunscreens accounted for most of the searches driving that peak.1

The report’s scope is Italian search interest during January–July 2026. Sales and demand estimates would require separate data.

What a product team can take from it

The searches are a starting point for questions, rather than a product brief. Someone searching for PDRN may want an explanation of the ingredient. For a Korean-skincare-inspired moisturiser, a team could ask prospective customers about texture, price, and the product’s place in their routine.

For an existing tinted-product project, compare the seasonal search pattern with your own demand information when considering launch timing.

Read the numbers in context

Google Trends scales relative search interest from zero to 100. The index does not report absolute monthly search counts. Low-volume terms may appear as zero.2 Keep the country and period attached to any comparison, and check how the chosen terms were defined.
