Welcome to Cosmetic Affairs. The everyday cosmetic product becomes more interesting when you look closely at its ingredients, structure, and path through manufacturing.

## What we will explore

Our three journals approach that idea from different directions. Cosmetic Chemistry opens the formulation notebook. Manufacturing follows the work beyond the bench. Ingredients asks what a material name tells us, and what context is still missing.

The News desk connects those conversations with explainers, reading lists, and editorial notes. [Regulatory Updates](/regulatory/) keeps selected official developments beside their jurisdiction, document status, source dates, and original documents.

## A way into the journal

Start with [the emulsion interface](/blogs/cosmetic-chemistry/emulsion-interface/), follow a [bench-to-batch handoff](/blogs/manufacturing/bench-to-batch/), or take a closer look at [ingredient lists](/blogs/ingredients/ingredient-list/). Each offers a different way to ask what is known, what was observed, and what a source actually supports.

Articles carry a publication or author credit and distinguish their publication date from substantive updates. Our [editorial policy](/editorial-policy/) explains source use, reviewer attribution, and corrections.
